Green Distillation Technologies Corporation Limited (GDT) is an unlisted Australian public company seeking to address the challenge of dealing with billions of end-of-life (ELT) tyres. GDT’s proprietary “destructive distillation” technology is an innovation that converts tyres back into reusable carbon, oil and steel, with zero harmful emissions.Since the company’s start in 2009, GDT has been financially sustained by government grants and loyal shareholders, and it welcomes more investors to its cause. GDT’s first processing plant is located 5 kilometres north of Warren in Western New South Wales. Plans are underway for more plants to be established throughout Australia.
